Sources for these extracts from the Sessional Papers of the Parliament Of Canada include the Internet Archive, Hathitrust Digital Library and personal files. A resolution of the House of Commons on Feb. 20, 1882, reqiuired annual reporting to the Parliament of Canada of all correspondence by the Governement of Canada with the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, its directors and officers and any orders in council concerning the Company. These annual reports continued for twelve years.
